Introduction
Hampton Bay is a branded in-house ceiling fan .These fans consist of a globe which has right-hand threads used to secure it in the house. When changing the light on a Hampton Bay fan, you have to turn the globe in the opposite direction unlike you would do when you unscrew a thread normally.
Instructions
1. First turn the switch off connected to the ceiling fan. Use a step ladder or a step stool and put it under the Hampton bay ceiling fan to access the globe easily.
2. By pressing on the globe with your hand, turn it clockwise and remove it from the base of the fan. The small amount of free-play between the globe resting position and pushing it up is often helpful in turning the globe.
3. After lowering the globe, you should unscrew the light bulb from its socket. A new light bulb of the same size should be installed in the same place.
4. After you lift the globe up to the housing, turn the globe counterclockwise and secure it.
