Introduction
Restoring your property after you face the fire and replacing charred effects can be very difficult, but various fire restoration tools and products can be used to help.
Chemicals
Many cleaners and disinfectants are available to kill or control fungal as well as bacterial growth. To repair the structural damage caused by fire, acrylic latex block fillers are used. For damage caused to your ducts, duct liner adhesive coating can be used. To clean upholstery anti-allergen carpet solutions are used.
Dryers
While restoring your property after a fire, drying the area after removing the water is most important. Desiccants are used to induce dryness for the absorption of water, and desiccant dehumidifiers are used for rooms which do not have outdoor access. Some dehumidifiers use low-grain refrigerants.
Personal Protection
Working on a fire restoration project, coveralls with boots and hood attached should be used which will keep your body and clothing safe from chemicals used. If you want extra protection for your feet and hands you can use latex boots and gloves.
