Introduction

The bulbs are provided with locking pins on the side. Instead of threading the bulb, low voltage bulbs are to be locked into the socket.

Instructions

1. Cover is to be removed from the low voltage outdoor light fixture. Some are simple to remove while others having two screws require a screwdriver. Some covers simply twist off.

2. After pushing the bulb down with your fingers, it is to be turned counterclockwise. This leads to the release of the bulb from the socket. Cover the exposed socket using a rug and prevent dirt and debris from getting into the socket.

3. Replace the bulb with a new one having the same wattage and voltage as the used bulb.

4. Hold the new bulb using a paper towel or tissue paper, as the oils in your skin may cause damage to the bulb.

5. After lining up the two pins on the side of the bulb having notches inside the socket, you have to press the bulb down lock it into the socket. The cover is placed back on top of the fixture and secured in position as before.
