The next word which comes to our mind with couch is relaxation. But these cushion gradually lose its elasticity and softness, instead of ordering a new one, you can plan to make your own cushion of your needs and design.
As you are making your cushion yourself the first step is to collect the material required that is the cloth or the cover, sponge, ruler, Scissor, needle and thread.
Cut the cloth of your cover in the design of your cushion outline that in the square shape or circle or it can be anything as you wish leaving an inch of cloth from all sides.
Repeat the above step – that is you need two cloth sheets for single cushion.
Stitch them with matching threads from all side except one side, leave it open because you will be inserting sponge and cotton from there.
Now the present status of your cushion is just a cover with the stitched part out and without sponge.
Oppose the cover from the unstitched portion so that the stitched portion gets inside; now fill the cushion from the unstitched portion. Then stitch up that portion too.

Most of the times, drilling a perfect hole for your screw seems like the hardest thing to do. Imperfect holes for your screw can lead to improper fitting resulting in weak support. It is hence always advisable to drill a pilot hole first to facilitate the entrance of the screw for the perfect fit. The general rule while drilling a pilot hole is that the diameter should be equal to the diameter of the root of the screw to ensure the fact that when the screw enters, it does not split the grain but ensures a firm fit.
The only downside of a perfectly and accurately drilled hole is that it does not provide room for the head of the screw. The way to overcome this problem is to use a bit for countersink with both a pilot hole and a larger hole for head of the screw ensuring a perfectly drilled hole.
